Typical applications and work steps for separating strips of this type:

• Sliding separation between adjacent drywall surfaces
• Separation of plaster surfaces instead of a trowel cut
• Apply adhesive strips to a clean, dry surface.
• Secure the strip to the adjacent component before placing the plate.
• Fill the joint between the panel and the component with filler.
• Cut off any protruding strips flush after drying.

Separating strips during component movement

Where drywall and solid construction work differently, Trennfix separates the plastered surface from the adjacent component at a defined line.

Flexible filler with low elongation

For low-stress connection joints, a flexible acrylic filler such as the ARDEX RF cartridge filler with max. 5% movement absorption is suitable as an alternative.

Demarcation and boundaries

Trennfix separates the plastered or rendered surface and does not replace partition tape for sound decoupling under the connection profiles.
