Beko TecLine Snow 900g is a powdered, universal, inorganic absorbent that soaks up spilled liquids and semi-liquids such as oil, solvents, or liquid paint. According to the manufacturer, just 250g can absorb up to 1 liter of oil. Important for selection: The white powder is sprinkled around the spill and swept up; it is not suitable for hydrogen fluoride or mercury.
The manufacturer lists car repair shops, paint shops, construction yards, freight forwarding companies, petrol stations and fire brigades as users; further products of the brand can be found in the Beko range from Keuck .
Typical uses and points to check before application:
Since the powder can be reused depending on the degree of saturation, one container is sufficient for several smaller uses; any residues that have already penetrated the surface should be dissolved beforehand with the Beko X-Clean Power Cleaner 1:3 diluted by the manufacturer as an accessory and then removed.
The type and amount of spilled liquid determine suitability and the required quantity.
According to the manufacturer, every 250 g of Snow absorbs up to 1 l of oil, 1.8 l of solvent or 0.75 l of liquid paint; for 900 g, this theoretically results in 3.6 times that amount.
According to the manufacturer, the binding agent must not be used with hydrogen fluoride and mercury under any circumstances.
Sprinkle the powder around the spill and sweep it in using a circular motion; brooms with dense or compressed bristles are unsuitable; dispose of contaminated material properly. According to the manufacturer, the product is intended for professional or industrial use only.
The most important specifications are listed in the manufacturer's documentation; the safety data sheet contains information on handling and disposal.
