The Berding Modula Plus® fine standard paver 30/20 in basalt-anthracite is a concrete paver with a finely water-blasted surface from the EINSTEIN® paving system by BERDING BETON. With dimensions of 295 x 195 x 80 mm, a natural stone facing, and a micro-chamfer, this rectangular paver is suitable for patios, paths, and courtyards around the house. The water-blasting process brings out the colors of the natural stone chips in the facing, creating a finely textured surface. Interlocking lugs on all sides secure the pavers against shifting, while the D-point jointing system automatically ensures standard-compliant joint widths.
The Modula Plus® fine standard paving stone 30/20 in basalt-anthracite is designed for homeowners and builders who want to create patios, garden paths, or courtyards with a sandblasted, finely textured surface in a dark shade. Landscaping companies benefit from the EINSTEIN® system because the joint width is predetermined by the system and the stones can be laid by hand. For planners, the option of using the format with widened joints as eco-paving is particularly appealing. Experienced DIYers can also easily manage the system, provided the substructure, bedding, and edging are professionally prepared.
As a rectangular paver in the 30 x 20 cm format, Modula Plus® fine is suitable for classic paved areas in residential and garden settings. With widened joints, this format can also be used as an eco-paver for permeable surfaces.
The finely water-blasted surface distinguishes Modula Plus® from natural concrete pavers: the blasting highlights the natural stone aggregate in the facing, creating a subtly textured, natural stone-like appearance in a basalt-anthracite color. The EINSTEIN® system prevents the stones from being laid too close together, one of the most common paving mistakes. The D-point jointing technology eliminates tight and compressed laying, allowing for easy application of jointing material. Together with the interlocking lugs on all sides, this creates a surface secured against displacement with a uniform joint pattern. For installation as eco-paving, wider joints and a suitable filler material are required. The series also includes the 20/10 and 20/20 formats, which can be combined with the standard stone. Plan for approximately 16 stones per square meter of laid area and also factor in waste at edges and around built-in features. For trafficked areas such as driveways, the construction and suitability should be professionally planned on a case-by-case basis.
