Who is the CEE wall-mounted appliance plug suitable for?

• A larger form factor is required for 32 A systems.

• Choose a mounting location with a straight, draft-free insertion direction.

The wall-mounted device plug creates a defined, splash-proof transfer point to which a 16 A cable with coupling is connected – for example with the REV CEE coupling 5-pole 16 A .

Plug or socket: choosing the right function

A wall-mounted appliance plug receives power but does not supply it to plugged-in devices. To connect machines, you need a 5-pin 16A CEE wall socket instead .

Number of poles and voltage

The five poles correspond to the 400 V three-phase system; 3- or 4-pole CEE components cannot be combined with it.

Rated current 16 A

The rated current limits the power that can be transferred; 32 A plugs have a different size and are not plug-compatible.

Assembly and important notes

Connection and commissioning should be carried out by a qualified electrician who checks the fuse rating, conductor cross-section, cable entry, and phase sequence. The plug must be installed in such a way that its contact pins are de-energized when unplugged.
