Areas of application and selection criteria

According to the manufacturer, the terminals are intended for the following applications; the test points help with selection:

• Connecting single- or multi-core electrical cables
• For flexible, rigid and single-wire conductors
• Divisible to the required number of poles
• Clamping range for solid conductors 0.5 to 6.0 mm²
• Multi-stranded conductors only up to 4.0 mm²
• Note the rated values ​​of 450 V and 41 A.
• Installation in junction boxes or enclosed housings
• Work on power lines should only be carried out when the power is off.

Your advantage: divisible and reversible

The terminal block can be divided to the required number of poles, and unlike crimped or soldered connections, the conductors can later be disconnected or reconnected.

Choose the right clamp

The type of conductor, the conductor cross-section, and the intended installation location are crucial.

Single-wire or multi-wire

Clamp solid conductors up to 6.0 mm², stranded conductors only up to 4.0 mm²; for fine-stranded conductors, ferrules are recommended to ensure that all individual wires are securely clamped.

Outdoor connections

Installation and limitations

Terminal blocks belong in a suitable junction box or enclosed housing. Work on electrical systems is reserved for qualified electricians and must only be carried out when the power is off.
