Beko TecLine Snow binder is a powdered, universal, inorganic binder that absorbs spilled oils, solvents, and liquid paints. According to the manufacturer, 250 g absorbs up to 1 liter of oil; the powder is non-flammable, odorless, and reusable depending on the degree of saturation. The 5 kg bucket is suitable for regular use in workshops and factories.
Snow is aimed at car repair shops, construction yards, commercial kitchens, printing plants, paint shops, fire brigades, petrol stations and industrial plants; for smaller applications there is the Snow hopper with 900 g .
Typical uses and points to check before buying:
Because Snow can be used multiple times depending on the saturation level and leaves no residue, it reduces cleaning costs according to the manufacturer; any existing dirt should be removed beforehand with beko X-Clean Power Cleaner diluted 1:3 .
The type and quantity of liquid, as well as the requirements for the respective place of use, are crucial.
Theoretically, the 5 kg bucket can hold up to 20 l of oil, 36 l of solvent or 15 l of liquid paint, derived from the manufacturer's specifications per 250 g.
The documents reviewed do not specify a classification as oil binder type I, II or III R; therefore, check the requirements for use on public traffic areas.
Sprinkle Snow around the spilled material, not directly into it, and sweep it into the liquid using a broom with widely spaced bristles, using a circular motion; dense or compressed bristles are unsuitable. Dispose of used absorbent material according to the type of liquid absorbed via an approved waste disposal facility.
The information is taken from the beko product information sheet (print date 01/2022) and the safety data sheet (revision 9 dated 19.11.2021); the values per bucket are calculated from this.
