EJOT screw anchor ejotherm STR U 2G 115 mm for concrete and masonry
The EJOT ejotherm STR U 2G 115 mm screw anchor fastens insulation boards of external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) to concrete and masonry. The anchor, with a 60 mm washer and pre-assembled screw, is suitable for use categories A to D with an anchoring depth of 25 mm. In its shortest length, it is designed for insulation thicknesses of 60 to 80 mm and flush mounting, according to the tested data sheets.
Who is the STR U 2G 115 mm suitable for?
The dowel is aimed at plasterers and ETICS specialists who dowel thin insulation boards flush with the surface of concrete or masonry.
Areas of application and test points
According to the EJOT data sheet, documentation and system holder information sheet, the following applications and test points apply to this length:
- 60 mm insulation thickness with 10 to 30 mm adhesive or old plaster layer
- 80 mm insulation thickness with a 10 mm adhesive layer
- For 60 mm insulation and 10 mm leveling in hollow building materials, a trial setup is required.
- Concrete, solid and hollow bricks as well as lightweight aggregate concrete (categories A–D)
- Not for aerated concrete: Category E requires a 65 mm anchoring depth and longer anchors.
- Flush mounting, seal dowel shaft with STR plug
- Can be combined with additional plates VT 90 or SBL 140 plus
- Determine the dowel length based on the insulation thickness, leveling layer, and anchoring.

The short anchoring depth keeps the boreholes in concrete and masonry short, and according to EJOT, the retraction of the plate signals secure anchoring.

Application range of the 115 mm length
According to the EJOT application matrix, the 115 mm length is suitable for 60 mm insulation with up to 30 mm leveling layer or for 80 mm insulation with 10 mm adhesive.
Recessed mounting only from 135 mm
The recessed mounting according to the STR principle requires a greater drilling depth; according to the system holder information sheet, it applies from a dowel length of 135 mm, for example with the STR U 2G in 135 mm .
Assembly and limits
Flush-mounted anchors are sealed with the EJOT STR plug . The specified loads are characteristic manufacturer values; according to EJOT, a safety factor of 3 should be applied in Germany, but the ETA and ETICS verification remain authoritative.
